Nevertheless, things get romantic in their little dorm room pretty fast. It just got to be too much for me and took me out of the story at times.
The part that I mentioned before that caused the story to slow down for me was when they tried to help a professor at the school. Walter is a player, a commitmentphobe, a bit of a rebel rouser. The story just fizzled out. The lead up to the first Kiss… so damn good.
A crazy little thing called love happened to Walter Lucas …Actually, his name was Kelly Davidson, he had like a million food allergies and an intense and kind of weird passion for Disney movies happily ever afters. Definitly a book to read again!!! You’re a happy-seeking missile. Walter wants Kelly to find the good things about Hope College, including a positive intro to dating and sex. View all 34 comments. It also didn’t help that one of the characters Walter annoyed me, another strike. Have you experienced that fear of disappointment? As far as storylines go, it was typical new adult fare with the two finding their way in a college that does not quite live up to the image it projects not sure really why anyone chooses that school and struggling with family dramas.
I mean, what is there not to love about a college freshman virgin from the sticks and a male player reforming his ways?? But, what I loved most View all 15 comments. The book was enjoyable, the writing good and I liked the romance. For me, the book read more like Walter’s story—and Williams was the mentor; the character who acts as a catalyst for significant character development usually in the second half of Ms Cullinan’s stories.

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Romance and I hopelessly love it.
Kelly Davidson has waited what seems like forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. And I loved the epilogue! Walter LucasKelly Davidson. Though hesitant and scared, Kelly and Walter begin to understand each other.
